What $2,415 of Plyto's own ad spend did in 30 days
Oct 14, 2026

The number that stopped me
2,687 clicks for $49. That is what our India-optimized Google Search campaign pulled in over the last 30 days, at two cents a click and a 13.41% CTR. It also logged 1,096 conversions, which is more conversions than the rest of our ad accounts combined by a wide margin.
I am going to be honest about what that means and does not mean, because the whole point of running Plyto on Plyto is that we see the full loop from impression to signup, not just the top of it.
The full 30 days, laid out
Across every account we spent $2,415, served 103,242 impressions, got 4,029 clicks at a $0.60 average CPC, and recorded 1,150 conversions. We got 74 signups. 65 came from ad clicks, 9 came in without one.
Here is what each campaign actually did.
Google Search
- Plyto campaign: $900, 43,735 impressions, 550 clicks at $1.64, 1.26% CTR, 29 conversions
- Plyto campaign - Conversions: $794, 33,571 impressions, 537 clicks at $1.48, 1.60% CTR, 23 conversions
- Plyto - Optimized for usage - India etc: $49, 20,034 impressions, 2,687 clicks at $0.02, 13.41% CTR, 1,096 conversions
- AI Ad Generator Search: $261, 1,071 impressions, 80 clicks at $3.27, 7.47% CTR, 2 conversions
- Agency Alternatives Search: $0, 48 impressions, 0 clicks, 0 conversions
Facebook and Instagram
- Plyto: AI runs your ads: $348, 1,992 impressions, 54 clicks at $6.45, 2.71% CTR, 0 conversions
- Plyto: Replace your tools (visits first): $63, 2,791 impressions, 121 clicks at $0.52, 4.34% CTR, 0 conversions
If you only looked at the conversion column you would conclude that cheap-geo search is a miracle and Facebook is broken. Neither is quite right.
What happened on the landing pages
We track three things on every ad landing page: visits, people who stayed past 15 seconds (read), and people who started typing into the product (started).
- /go/chatgpt-ads: 1,953 visits, 1,390 read, 141 started
- /: 1,569 visits, 933 read, 238 started
- /go/ai-ads: 287 visits, 218 read, 17 started
- /go/free-crm: 250 visits, 199 read, 20 started
- /go/switch: 151 visits, 126 read, 16 started
- /lp/xiq5u2eo534j: 141 visits, 64 read, 0 started
The homepage got fewer visits than /go/chatgpt-ads but produced more people who started typing in the product: 238 versus 141. On a per-visit basis the homepage converts intent to action at roughly 15%, while /go/chatgpt-ads sits closer to 7%.
/go/free-crm is small but efficient: 250 visits, 199 of them stuck around, and 20 started. That is an 8% start rate off a page we barely spent on.
/lp/xiq5u2eo534j is the warning sign in the set. 141 visits, 64 read, 0 started. Something on that page is not matching what the ad promised.
Three things a small business could do with this tomorrow
1. Separate your "cheap conversions" from your "paying customers" in your own reporting.
Our India-optimized campaign generated 1,096 conversions for $49. Those conversions are real actions, but we got 74 signups total across the entire account, and only 65 of those came from any ad at all. If I had judged the account on the conversions column alone, I would have 10x'd the budget on the $0.02 clicks and gotten nothing closer to revenue. Pick the one event that actually correlates with money for you, and build your dashboard around it. Everything else is a diagnostic, not a scoreboard.
2. Compare landing pages on behavior, not traffic.
/go/chatgpt-ads got the most visits. The homepage got the most people to start using the product. /go/free-crm quietly outperformed on engagement per visit. If you have more than one landing page, rank them by the deepest action a visitor can take, not by sessions. Then move spend accordingly. And when a page shows 141 visits and 0 deep actions, like /lp/xiq5u2eo534j did for us, pull the ads pointing at it until you fix the mismatch.
3. Do not give up on a channel after 30 days of zero conversions, but do change what you are asking it to do.
Our two Facebook and Instagram campaigns spent $411 combined and produced 0 conversions. But the "Replace your tools" campaign brought in 121 clicks at $0.52, which is cheaper traffic than most of our search campaigns. The problem is not the channel, it is that we were asking cold social traffic to convert on the first visit. The fix is to let that traffic warm up and measure assisted conversions, not to kill the campaign because the last-click column is empty.
Why we publish these
We run Plyto's own marketing on Plyto, which means every number above came out of the same loop we sell. Publishing the ugly columns next to the good ones is the only honest way to talk about what an AI-run marketing stack actually does in a month. Next month's numbers will look different. We will post those too.
Plyto is the AI that makes and runs your ads
It writes the ad, builds the landing page, captures the leads and shows you which dollar came back. Try it free, no credit card.
